Notice for Job Applicants Residing in California

In compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Cambro Manufacturing Co., (“Cambro”) is providing you with this Notice to describe our privacy practices with respect to our collection of Personal Information as required under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). This Notice applies only to job applicants and candidates for employment who reside in the State of California (“Consumers”) and from whom we collect “Personal Information” as described in the CCPA.

In the course of applying for a position with Cambro, we may collect the following categories and types of Personal Information. This information may be used for the following identified purposes during the application process:

Opportunity Act (EEOC), the federal Office of Contracting Compliance

Programs (applicable to government contractors), and California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act.

To report on diversity and inclusion.

To obtain and verify background check and references

Pre-Hire Information

Job application, resume, background check results, drug test results, job interview notes, and candidate evaluation records

To evaluate applicant’s job application and candidacy for employment with Cambro Manufacturing

Education Information

Transcripts or records of degrees and vocational certifications obtained

To evaluate and verify applicants’ qualifications for employment with Cambro Manufacturing.

 

Employment History

Information regarding prior job experience, positions held, names of prior supervisors, and when permitted by applicable law your salary expectations

Pre-employment background checks

 Personal information does not include:

  • Publicly available information from government records.
  • De-identified or aggregated consumer information.

If you become employed by Cambro, Cambro will notify you of additional categories of Personal Information that it collects, receives, and maintains for business purposes.
